I am aware at times – and I know you are too – of those fleeting moments of revelation that spring to mind as if from nowhere; they flash like lightning, disappear as quickly as they come, and leave an impress that is impossible to ignore. These are the gems in daily living!
Today, very early in the morning and just before meditation, one such gem flashed through mind leaving a clearer understanding of what constitutes ‘right human relations’.
‘When I look at you and perceive only a personality with its varying strengths and foibles and fail to see the invisible Light that is You and Me, then we cannot truly meet. In this limiting perspective there is either sticky sentimentality and superficial attachment if I like you, or criticism and consequent separation if I don’t.’
Insight reveals the necessity to go beyond personality focus and engage the energies of the Soul.
