THIRD POINT OF CRISIS – Pending?

After living for some years in the Big City and approaching her fortieth year, the need for radical change began to surface again. Over the years, the aspiring woman came to realise that something ‘real’ had taken place within her and the long period of healing had brought some peace and quiet confidence. But the fire of discontent had begun to raise its head again, and the groups in which she had long participated seemed unable to satisfy her thirst for knowledge and deeper understanding.

With a pressing desire to fill the many gaps in the knowledge she had received over the years, the woman began to search again for that fullness of understanding which would bring clarity to those questions prompted by the shadow so many years ago. Over a period of ten years she became quietly involved with two distinct, yet similar groups that were founded on principles developed from particular traditions originating in the distant past.

In course of time and with unrelenting perseverance she was led finally to a source of information which provided precisely what she was searching for. The old adage: “Seek and ye shall find; Ask and ye shall receive“, proved once again to be true to the core. She had come into contact with someone in one of the groups’ internet forums who spoke of things which triggered a magnetic response within her. Having failed on many occasions to stimulate interest in the unreceptive group forum, her newly-found friend revealed finally, in private, the source of her knowledge.

In a relatively short space of time and through attentive study of the material collected from her friend, she began to fill those gaps in her understanding. The result, needless to say, was a sense of satisfaction so deep it reached to the core. She had held her tension long and steady in the face of all obstacles and had now secured a measure of well-earned freedom and relief.

Right knowledge brings right understanding; higher knowledge brings higher understanding. The requirement for both is right timing and receptivity. It is impossible to explain higher knowledge to someone who is unreceptive to it. Consciousness must have some sensitivity to that which stands ‘above’ before it can receive it. This sensitivity is gained steadily through the many minor revelations we experience in our daily living – if we are awake to them – and brings us in good time to the door of a major crisis in consciousness. At such time, we stand alert at the door and wait for that which is pending.
