Within each of us is a driving force steering us forward towards betterment, and whether we acknowledge it or not, it is the outstanding characteristic of the human being.
We all know in our heart of hearts that in truth we are much more than that which we presently manifest, and so in our daily living we pass from discontent to discontent, driven always by that something within which reveals to our inner vision a more desirable state or experience.
For some of us the driving force manifests as a desire for material welfare, comfort and wealth and all that comes with this; for others, the urge is emotional in nature and the craving for the experience of emotional satisfaction is predominant; others still are geared more towards intellectual pursuit and the deeper understanding of life and living. We are all driven forward to attain by some means that which seems more appealing.
In the struggle to achieve the vision which lies ahead we bring about in our individual ways the progressive development of our personality instruments: the physical and emotional bodies, and the concrete mind, perfecting in the process these three until they are brought to a point of PERSONALITY INTEGRATION. This accomplishment is a key point on the evolutionary journey and marks a stepping stone into a wider vision.
Do you recollect ever having had the good fortune to meet with someone who radiates a steady, loving, intelligent balance in his/her personality equipment? If you have you might remember the effect they had on you; the Light they radiate is attractive and magnetic and our immediate response to them is one of love and openness. These are the forerunners in our human race for they have achieved that point of PERSONALITY ALIGNMENT which provides a natural conduit for the Light of the inner Presence to shine through into this world. This LIGHT is real; it is the LIGHT within each of us, too often obscured in ourselves and in those we meet. It is your Light, my Light, his/her Light – the present and future hope of humanity.
Until a definite alignment of the three bodies is achieved, our waking consciousness is governed by the demands of the instinctive, emotional, and ‘thinkery-thonkery’ activities of the dis-aligned and unruly lower bodies. It’s as simple as that! The process of personality alignment is the requirement for bringing in the Inner Light to this world and is our purpose for being here. Many in the past have achieved full personality integration, and much more, and there are many today who are in the process of achieving it.
