The educating of humanity is ensured through clear thinking of ideas that are conceived:
a) In terms of the whole
b) In terms of a desirable world order
c) In the discrimination between the Forces of Light and the potency of materialism.
In the statement ‘No man liveth unto himself’ we find the heart of the solution; if we extend this idea to include ‘No nation liveth unto itself’, and further still ‘Humanity liveth not unto itself’, we may hold the key to securing a sound education. No man, nation or kingdom, planet or solar system has ever been, or ever will be, an island or entity unto itself.
The idea of separation, so prevalent in our thinking processes, is a deluded figment of the imagination. True education lies in the acknowledgement of the simple fact of Oneness, and the goal of all human effort is towards this fundamental understanding and acceptance.
The One Life lives through and within each and every form of being.
Human consciousness, as it now stands collectively, is ever conditioned by the Law of Duality, and it is a condition which ever hides the One Reality. Our world cultures, with their philosophies, educational systems, religions, politics, economics, and our forms of art and science are all founded on the distinction between the pairs of opposites. We experience Life in terms of:
Spirituality and Materialism
Generosity and Greed
Wisdom and Ignorance
Light and Dark
Fellowship and Separation
The whole and the Part
It is said that the dark aspect in human nature, brought about over the ages by the forces of glamour and illusion, created by man himself, has affected every aspect of human enterprise. It is also said that the light aspect in humanity is being emphasised today – now more than ever before – and is made clear by world aspirants bringing into the dark places of the world the light of truth that is so greatly needed at this time. Humanity, despite the present world confusion, is in process of being swept into an age of comprehension which goes beyond the Law of Duality and will lead eventually to a higher and more focussed mental clarification in all fields of endeavour.
Before the dawn comes night must pass away.
In the sutra of The Four Noble Truths as given by our Great Brother of superior intelligence, it is written:
We should know our sufferings.
We should abandon their origins.
We should attain the cessation of these.
We should practise the Path.
These instructions are known as the four noble truths because they are superior and non-deceptive instructions which lead to the paths of:
Right Understanding
Right Thought
Right Speech
Right Action
Right Livelihood
Right Effort
Right Mindfulness
Right Concentration
The cause of all sorrow and woe is desire; it is the consuming desire for that which is material, in total disregard of that which is spiritual. This is the key message of the Enlightened One. Over two thousand years ago, another great brother came and enunciated for us in his life the Law of Love which is to be the goal of all human effort, ever prompted by a loving understanding for the whole. It is said that the First One made the initial effort to dissipate world glamour as it exists on the astral/emotional plane; and the Second made the first effort to dispel world illusion on the plane of the mind. It is now left to those of us who are sufficiently awake, to carry Their work forward by a clear recognition of our part in the process of Light bearing. The combined work of these two Great Brothers, concentrated through many lesser brothers who are embodied in the world at this time, must and will shatter illusion and dissipate glamour as they stand on the inner planes.
Illusion, we are told, is shattered by the intuitive recognition of reality by those minds attuned to it, so that the light of spiritual perception, truth and of wisdom may stand revealed. It is also said that Glamour, which are thick fogs of the astral/emotional plane, is dissipated by the pouring in of the light of reason which brings illumination, so necessary for the dissolution of this ancient substance in which many of us dwell.
Let us work and shine our light before men so that we may see that which is true, good and beautiful.
