The widespread recognition of the evil of present (economic) warfare across the globe and of errors in every national policy make it possible eventually for the human race to produce a general attitude which will clear the way for the needed right adjustments.
We are beginning to register on a wider scale the obvious and blatant shortcomings of our modern civilisation; and more importantly, we are beginning to acknowledge the dire need for fundamental change in those ancient and out-dated patterns of thought and behaviour that have brought us to the present impasse.
Despite the many upheavals occurring on every level and in all fields of human endeavour, we are realising that there is within the core of each of us those seeds of change which can and will eliminate the deep-seated causes of ignorance. To do this we must face the present global challenges with as much skill as we can muster. Creative intelligence and deep-seated love are inherent in the human mind and heart; together they will bring about that condition of right human relations which is so necessary at this time of great upheaval.
