BEING HUMAN

Life on Earth tends to separate us

from the body of our work

as souls,

and leaves us grappling

not only with the angst of the moment,

but with a resonant mumbling

from past imprints.

Being human,

we blanket ourselves

from our greater purpose and prior intention

By becoming bogged down in life’s

constant demand for survival

we quickly forget

our true purpose and why we are here

in the first place.

Quiet reflection and daily meditation

will remove, little by little,

the constant inner turmoil

which characterises so much

of our life expression.

It is in these moments of quiet

and deepest stillness

that we catch a glimpse

of eternal truth,

ever constant behind all movements.
