The modern worker in any group endeavour
needs to see to it that he/she does not hinder
by any form of self-assertion,
or by the imposition of his/her own ideas,
or by any form of authoritarianism, based on past procedure.
Ponder on this.
That man or woman who is convinced
that he/she is always right;
who is confident that his/her interpretation
of what is needed is infallibly correct,
and that others must be moulded into cooperation
with his/her planned procedures
can greatly hinder the good work.
The task of the modern worker is ever to sense the real need,
and to meet that need through some form of creative endeavour
which will bring about right human relations.
This is indeed part of the emerging technique of the New Age:
to align energy with others in a spirit of brotherhood.
As one comes under the impression of the Soul,
then under Soul control, and final identification with the Soul,
so does one move towards the centre of group fusion.
In this way, the personality loses its tyrannical grip.
As love for humanity increases and interest in oneself decreases,
so will one move towards that centre of light and love
where all who are true stand in spiritual being.
