The intellect makes a good servant but a poor master.
Just as Moses could not enter the “Promised Land,”
so the intellect alone will never see reality.
Only when intellect becomes the servant of unitive Soul consciousness,
does mentality fulfill its proper role.
Intellect must be a servant of Light, of Truth,
and a means of helping others live more intelligently –
that is its true function.
Instead of being proud of one’s own mental prowess,
One may take a ‘legitimate pride’
in how well one has helped others learn to think.
