Mind is a dimension in consciousness, in the same way that the emotional and physical planes are dimensions in consciousness. These three vast realms are the present habitual domain in which we live, move and have our beings – albeit on varying frequencies. It is reasonable to infer from this, that, as human beings, we have acquired access to these realms through the instrumentality and development of the mental, emotional and physical bodies. The development of these instruments of consciousness becomes then the determining factor for the level of awareness available to each.
In our world today it is evident that there are among us those who are gaining access to dimensions other than the three mentioned above. The clarity of mind and genuine sweetness of heart with which they speak and write and the manner in which they conduct themselves, all indicate a depth of understanding and a level of being that is above and beyond the spirit of the age. They are the visionaries in our modern world and acutely sensitive to the needs of the time. I like to classify these individuals as ‘Pioneers of the New Age’: a new group of world servers who are sensitive to Higher Impressions pouring into the receptive mind.
The TEACHINGS of Higher Living, for those who are preparing themselves inwardly to KNOW and to SEE, have gathered together the minds and hearts of many over the last century, and each day more are gathered into the fold by the clear cold light of its Pure Reason–irrespective of race, class, religion, or worldly position. It is a wonderful thing to see.
This article is a very brief attempt to bring into clearer focus the existence of higher dimensions, the Beings who inhabit them, and our growing connection with Them. These subtle connections are evident in the powerful effects that are created in the world by those who are more aligned to higher impressions, and by their loving and selfless service in this time of transition into a New Age.
As we enter the birth pangs of Earth’s transition into a New Age, the seeding of new impressions within the collective mind-set is occurring on an unprecedented scale. There are many examples of this receptivity to higher thought in the lives of many of our writers, artists, scientists, politicians and modern seers. What is now required perhaps is a clear and full acknowledgement of the potency of this growing Light, and the conscious turning of the collective mind towards its Source.
Revelation is ever procured in time and through due process by all men and women, and it dawns purposely in the minds of those who are sensitive and receptive to it. The purpose of revelation is ever to set man free from the limitations of out-dated thought-forms so that he may embrace the new. Through these disclosures on the plane of mind, the Plan and Purpose of Life become known to mankind. When men and women come together in solidarity and in the battle for all that is good, true, and beautiful in this world, they evoke in unison the higher visions which reveal the needed solutions.
Intuitional impressions transmitted from above bring to light the existence of a fifth kingdom in nature, one Whose presence is drawing nearer to humanity as the Soul of Humanity opens and faces in Its direction. Members of this advanced kingdom are responsible for working out the purposes of the Divine Being Who ensouls the Earth, in cooperation with human beings who are attuned to this purpose and are able to serve it. The cooperation between the two kingdoms, human and spiritual, is developing both consciously and unconsciously in the hearts of those who are genuinely concerned about the well-being of the planet and all who live upon it. It is clear to many that the awakening of humanity to its Higher Self is the main event taking place on the planet at this time as consciousness takes priority over form in the passage to the New Earth.
Yet, on the human side of the equation an inadequacy exists perhaps in regard to the full and conscious turning of the mind towards Those Who stand in readiness. There remains still an unwillingness by some to suspend disbelief in the presence of this advanced kingdom, in spite of the Wisdom Teachings given out directly from Them and bearing living testimony to Higher Worlds as preparatory for this transition time. Humanity cannot stand alone in this urgent task of balancing the many ghastly effects of long and unregulated planetary mismanagement: the cumulating challenges it now faces are too great. We would do well to remember this and, in so doing, turn as an invocative group towards Those Who ever wait in patient anticipation for the necessary building (on the human side of the equation) of the bridge between the two kingdoms.
