What are we really doing when we are doing what we are doing?
All the time we are responding to each other’s energy, more than to the exact words or actions of others. In every situation, energy is being released and absorbed–the taking and giving of energy is what we are actually doing. We all feel, suffer or enjoy the differences in energy, but few can say exactly what it is that is happening. Why do we feel drawn or repelled in any circumstance? It is the quality of energy that attracts or repels.
What we all desire and need from each other is Life energy, which always draws, creates, and connects things. Inside of Life energy, individuals and groups become productive and filled with goodwill. Let us pay more attention to this subtle level of communication and seek integrity in the task within the task, purifying our intentions with honesty about our actual motives. It is hard work initially, but soon becomes an effortless way of living and loving. This is treading the Path.
