Mind is a dimension in consciousness, in the same way that the emotional and physical planes are dimensions in consciousness. These three realms are the habitual domains in which most of us live, move, and have our beings – albeit on varying levels of these planes. They constitute the realm of consciousness we term personality, or the lower self by some. It is reasonable to infer from this that human beings have acquired access to these realms of consciousness through the instrumentality and ongoing development of the mental, emotional and physical bodies, which then become the determining factor for the level of awareness available to each.
In our world today it is evident that there are those among us who are gaining access to dimensions of consciousness, other than the three mentioned above. The clarity of mind and genuine openness of heart with which they speak and write, and the manner in which they conduct themselves in human relations all indicate a depth of understanding and a level of being that is above and beyond the average spirit of the age. They are the visionaries in our modern world and acutely sensitive to the needs of the time. I like to classify these individuals as Pioneers of the New Age: a new group of world servers who are sensitive to Higher impressions pouring into the mind from higher realms.
The Teachings of Higher Living have been given to humanity over the ages from Those in spiritual realms for the benefit of preparing us to mount the ladder of consciousness. They have enlightened the minds and hearts of many over the last century, in particular, and each day more are gathered into the fold by the clear cold light of its pure reason, irrespective of race, nationality, class, or worldly position.
This short article is a brief attempt to bring into clearer focus the fact of consciousness and its vast range of experiences on different levels: those that comprise the three lower planes of personality, as mentioned above, and those of higher dimensions. What is occurring now more openly than ever before is the fact that there are those on earth who are becoming receptive to subtle ‘gift waves’ sent by advanced beings on higher planes. Communications from Those in higher realms are becoming more evident among those human beings who are somehow aligned and more receptive to higher impressions; their loving and selfless service to others in this time of great need is a clear demonstration of this higher connection.
As we live through the birth pangs of Earth’s transition into a new era, the seeding of these new impressions within the collective mind is growing exponentially. There are many examples of this receptivity to higher thought in the lives of some of our writers, artists, scientists, politicians and modern seers. What is required now is a conscious acknowledgement of this growing communication between the two realms and the turning of the collective mind towards its Source.
Revelation of Truth is ever procured in time and through due process by all men and women, and particularly in those who are growing more sensitive and receptive to it. The purpose of revelation is ever to set men and women free from the limitations of out-dated thought-forms in order to embrace the new. Through these beautiful disclosures on the plane of mind which stimulate the opening of the heart, the Plan and Purpose of Life are better understood. When the human race comes together in solidarity and in the battle for all that is good, true, and beautiful in this world, it will evoke in unison the higher visions which reveal the needed solutions. Today, we are very much in need of truth–and nothing but the truth, simple goodness, and brotherly love for all.
