It owns only hard-won accumulations of
love and wisdom, higher intelligence and
spiritual will.”

Here’s an intelligent comment on the extract above offered recently
by a good friend . . .
“The evolution of mankind has developed through an alternation of life lived on the dense physical plane, interspersed with periods of existence on the lighter levels of consciousness, named differently according to the various cultures (astral world, mental world, soul plane, devachan, paradise…)
The other aspect of life consists of many experiences called incarnations, lived in this level of density, in which the consciousness perceives what we see as separate from ourselves.
The mind and the selfish desires that support it create the deception fostered by the vision of a reality in which everything seems separate and disjointed from all other beings.
Personal desires and cunning thoughts lead to a certain development of the concrete mind, which ends up justifying any action that favours the personal good at the expense of the common good.
While human beings carry out all possible and imaginable strategies to compete, subjugate, rob, kill, hate and betray, an inexorable cosmic Law sends us, in the form of events and difficulties, energies of equivalent value and intensity to those we have disseminated to the world.
Through experiences that take the form of mistakes, pain or beneficial creations, equivalent contributions return to us, which it is foolish to attribute to luck or misfortune, because they are simply the ripening of the fruits we have sown in the near or distant past.
When the pain from mistakes made comes to develop a profound wisdom, the Love of the Soul, that awareness that for long Ages we have only experienced in the interludes between one incarnation and another, returns to the consciousness of the incarnated human being.
This is the Promised Land that brings about change, and today, when so many have attained this inner grace, the necessary energies exist to transform even the outer reality into a world of Peace, Joy and Harmony.
This may still seem impossible to achieve, but humanity is not left to itself in this possibility. We are and will be helped, so that what seems unattainable today will be the reality in the future.
