EVEN WITH OUR MANY DIFFERENCES, WE SHARE COMMON ATTRIBUTES THAT MAKE US ONE HUMAN FAMILY.
π
βFor too long, the things that make us different have caught our attention. Indeed, sadly, sometimes, they have even held us captive.
But we are not so dissimilar–not at all. We share many attributes that make us one human family. We often long for many of the exact same things: A smile that brings the warmth of the sun with it, a child’s laughter, a loving touch that reminds us that we are worthy, the simple things in life that bring us joy and happiness. It is these commonalities which form the connecting threads that the Great One has woven into the potentially beautiful tapestry called “Humanity.”
Let us not rebuke our external differences with nay-sayings; rather, let us celebrate all that we share and all that we are within the one human family. When we do this, we will experience an entirely new world.β
