This is a very brief description of the soul in each of us and its purpose during incarnation. It was given by an enlightened soul to help us understand a little better why we are here.

“If you look back on your life, you know that some lessons are more valuable than others. Experience layers contain incarnation memories, memories of the efforts to manifest qualities of Source, lessons of value accumulated from incarnations and from the rest-assessment time between incarnations. What worked. What didn’t. What has been learned. What prior incarnations wished to pass on to others.
A young one would have experience layers the equivalent of “Don’t run into traffic to cross the street.” “Keep your hand away from fire.” These are life incarnation experiences. As you mature, perhaps you are expressing a quality of Source and you become very vocal about this, pressing it on everyone because it is a valuable lesson for you. You would like to share it with everyone. But as you mature further, you hold that lesson, you live in accordance with that lesson and let the questioners come to you. Perhaps as you mature further, your experience gives you a great deal of flexibility in the way you express the lesson you have learned so that you attract people rather than erecting a barrier of domineering conviction that makes them want to walk away.
As souls are created, appropriate experiences are chosen to swirl around the qualities of Source, the qualities that Source wishes to manifest in this universe. That is the beginning. That is the formation of the first human souls within the soul family where always there are elders, always there are the youngest and always there are those in the middle. These souls with their sparks and swirls of experience from the past universes will now be collecting experiences from this universe. But to do that, they need to be moved into environments of manifestation and become part of the breathing out. I use that term carefully because the environment of manifestation in many instances is what we know as the etheric environment or the etheric plane and not the dense physical.
There are some souls who manifest in the etheric, some who manifest in the dense physical . . . and some who have the ability to manifest in either the etheric or the dense or manifest in a vehicle that has the ability to travel easily, at will, back and forth between the dense and the etheric. The point being that all human manifestation is not in the dense physical that Earth scientists are capable of measuring. The ability to measure and identify life in other dimensions is not yet accepted conceptually and therefore not pursued by the vast membership of the scientific community. Yet there are a growing number of those who do acknowledge that there is life and existence in other dimensions. They will eventually find and create ways to measure and then find ways to communicate with the life they recognize.”
