Q: What is the meaning of the words by Jesus: “The last shall be first and the first shall be last.”
🕊
“The meaning of this statement by the Master Jesus can be likened to the statement: ‘The meek shall inherit the earth.’ These words – meek, last, first – pertain to the world order that has been controlled through the centuries, up to the present, by the brazen and the rich. It is an order in which the humble and the poor have persistently suffered tremendous indignities that cannot be understood by anyone who has not been forced to endure them. Those who have been last and least have been treated as slaves and as objects to be dealt with at the whim of–and under the whip of—their masters. This will change as Christ reappears and has already begun to change, as can be witnessed in the mass protests occurring across the globe.
In the new world, the bodies of human beings will reflect the degree of light attained by the individual soul. The etheric body will be in a real sense a reflection of the contents of the soul’s causal vehicle. Many of those who will radiate the greatest light will be the ones who have suffered profoundly under the lash of pain and who have learned the most about compassion, tolerance, patience, forbearance, and love.
In place of acting as the meek and humble personalities into which they were degraded by constant fear, their light will shine brightly. They will be in a position to serve as embodiments of right human behavior. This is not to say that all these souls will have been perfected, for that is not the case. But they will have a definite advantage in the new planetary order in which the manifestation of the soul’s light and love will be the goal and the means of creating a new civilization and culture.”
