“Many who have suffered greatly and have withstood agonizing pain know that in the aftermath of the darkest night of the soul, the light breaks through. But what is the nature of this light? It is difficult to convey in conventional language because its source lies beyond human experience. It is a current of spiritual energy that flows from one point to another, from a source to a destination. It is a stream of illumination issuing from the Realm of Souls that enters the awareness of the human Soul, the higher Self. Where there is no personality blockage, or where that blockage has been diminished as a result of profound suffering, this illumination can enter the soul.”

The primary obstacle to divine light is a lack of belief in the existence of higher worlds––the spiritual dimensions of Earth. Without a belief in a higher reality, there is no concern for the consequences of one’s actions, and therefore no restraint on baser instincts. This declining scenario is all too common in our world today.
The figure known as Christ by Christians, and as Krishna, Maitreya, Messiah, Imam Mahdi by others, was sent into the valley of earthly suffering 2000 years ago to reveal to humanity the divine light and the path of spiritual love and illumination.
There is a belief in all major religions that when chaos and lawlessness reign, a divine avatar appears to save mankind. This Avatar of Love may well appear in a form today unexpected by many.
Declaring himself beyond the rulers of the material realm, His mission is ever to divert human attention from worldly powers to spiritual powers governing the planet from subtler realms.
His words are a call to the higher Self of the human being to awaken and demonstrate the divine potential to heal, through love of one another and in the love of the Father-Creator.
We are given profound insights into who Christ is and why He comes again. Known as the Eldest Brother of humanity, He is the first member of the human race to achieve the goal set by the Lord of the World, the Living Being Who ensouls our planet.
Christ is the furthest along in the scheme of human evolution. Through His demonstrated Love and Wisdom, humanity is shown its potential to become sons and daughters of God, serving as mediators between the higher and lower realms of planetary consciousness.

Christ’s supernatural abilities revealed that Divinity had entered human affairs. It is now ingrained in human consciousness that a godly person is someone who adheres to divine law, devotes their life to others, and has a vision of the Kingdom of God and the will to manifest it.
We may ask: Who is Christ now as he re-enters the world? The Elders offer a visual image of the subtler planes of Earth, which we are free to accept or reject—in the light of our souls.
“When the spirit of Christ left his form on the dense physical plane in Palestine, it did not evaporate into thin air. It had a destination on a plane of Earth’s life that has been invisible to incarnate humanity, with rare exceptions.
The Elders offer an insight into this more subtle plane and Those Who dwell there.
“To visualize this destination, picture a vast monastery stretching into the distance, whose luminosity draws you toward it. As you approach closer, you realize it is not made of clay but of pure white light threaded with streams of golden light.
“Seated in this ‘monastery’ are figures clothed in white garb, seated in circular rows, stretching outward as far as the eye can see. In the center stands an altar, also circular, upon which sits a large bowl containing an opalescent flame.
“Rising above the bowl is a blazing triangle of light composed of three figures whose faces can be identified as the Masters of Wisdom of the ashrams bearing the three most prominent cosmic rays influencing humanity at this time: the Ray of Power, the Ray of Loving Wisdom, and the Ray of Order. In their center and rising above is the rose-colored flame of The Christ.”

We are told that the ‘flame of this divine Being,’ ascending from the crucified body, came to rest at the pinnacle of the Spiritual Hierarchy in the fifth kingdom of Earth’s life—the subtle realm that is currently being revealed to awakening souls.
Christ’s living example of love and sacrifice provides us with an illustration of the advanced stages of evolution, where every aspect of the personality, including the physical body, is offered in service to the divine Plan.
His mission was to show humanity the way back to the Source of Life, the Spirit that ensouls the Earth. He demonstrated the path to union with Divinity through His transformation and transfiguration by Light.
Christ was the first member of the human race to achieve the recognized status of Divinity, and the first to have endured the wrath of humanity for his embodiment of this status—so alien was it to the race at that time.
In His current role as head of the Spiritual Hierarchy, He presides over a large group of Illumined Souls, each of whom will play a part in the unfolding plan of evolution, and all of whom are prepared to serve in this pivotal moment for humanity and the planet.
It is said that Christ leads through the emission of thought-energy which is interpreted by the Masters closest to him, and spread telepathically through the rows of white-clad Beings in the great lighted ‘monastery,’ as described above. These thought forms are then transmitted to those on the physical plane who are receptive to the downflow of Light.
As the Divine Avatar becomes perceptible on Earth, His lighted presence will irradiate a global community of souls who are already climbing the arc of evolution, some of whom have already gained enough light of understanding to welcome the remarkable changes He brings to humankind.
Our purpose, as awakening souls, is to remain awake and ever watchful of the positive events now entering the world. Great changes are taking effect even now and can be recognized by all who are paying attention to global events.

We are told that Christ and His disciples are working even now to establish a political path to world peace. In apparent and in subtle ways, he will continue to demonstrate how to achieve the inner peace of the individual that ever underlies external peace in the world.
In this final period of the Piscean age, wars and other forms of aggression are common. With the new spiritual impulse emerging on the eve of the Aquarian age, it is said that with the re-appearance of the Divine Avatar, immense hope will stir in the hearts and minds of those who recognize Him. Through this recognition, a world of more harmonious human relations awaits us in the near future.
