What the World Needs Now is Light and Love

“Portions of Earth are serving as burning grounds for the purification of humanity. It is only a matter of time before these fires foster a deeper awareness of the need to purify thoughts, desires, motives and actions in order to establish a new Earth. Fires erupting across the face of the planet symbolize the burning away of impurities.  They are clearing the way for humanity’s entry into the next cycle of evolution.  

What needs to be purified is all that binds people to separative thinking and living and blinds them to the reality that they are intrinsically part of a group, a human society, and a planetary community of living beings. The rising number of fires around the globe has catalysed the process of purification.  However, to serve the evolutionary goal there has to be a parallel degree of conscious recognition of the underlying causes of physical events. This recognition has been gradually growing.”

The Elders say that life would have been very different for humanity today if we had learned the needed lessons from the World Wars of the 20th century. The suffering of the masses at that time mirrors increasingly the plight of much of humanity today.

Every day, we witness extreme behaviour that perpetuates human suffering across the globe. At the same time, if we look more closely at world events, we see new examples of leadership emerging, particularly in the Middle East.

After the Great War of the last century, a surge of humanitarianism and optimism swept the globe. High aspirations flooded the planet and a new vision of world unity lifted humanity from its pain and suffering. But these hopeful expressions of energy and enthusiasm quickly gave way to deep-rooted patterns of selfishness and separation residing in the human mind.

Goodwill initiatives requiring a change in values were soon replaced by a desire for personal comfort and an obsession with material things. The intended spiritual lessons were mostly overlooked, resulting in a steady rise in global conflict over time.

But a planetary purification is now underway. According to the Elders, fires and other climate disasters are serving to lift human consciousness towards the light. They foster an awareness of the need to purify our thoughts, desires, motives and actions to create a new World. Whereas the old order emphasized the separation of all things, the new order will reflect the truth of the essential unity of life.

What our world needs is Light. The light of humanity’s Higher Self! The light of wisdom to dispel ignorance. Light to educate and uplift and bring peace and understanding of life’s true purpose. Light to release us from the limitations of the personality and connect us with the Reality of Divine Love in our souls.

We are told that the Christ spirit is increasingly present on Earth, and is aiding the process of transformation at the critical time when humanity stands at a crossroads. Every individual faces the choice between spiritual ascent or continued immersion in material darkness. 

Before the Light of Christ can restore the plan on Earth, there are scales to balance, lessons to learn, hearts to open, and the poor to serve. We are in the process of balancing these karmic scales, after a long history of breaking moral and natural laws.

We are progressing into an era wherein men and women will have enlightened minds; when the soul’s wisdom will be stronger than personal desire, and when thought powers will be used for the benefit of all and for the proper guidance of the world.  

Love is a great unifier—a magnetic force that infuses and binds together all life in the universe. Mind is the creative factor that directs the energies of the cosmos. Can we imagine the condition of our world when the human mind, infused with the love of the soul, is as potent and compelling as the emotional nature is at present?

The awakened mind recognizes that the burden of responsibility for change lies within each of us. As the heart opens and the mind gains access to the Light of the Soul, it is possible to discern the Will of God. We then have the opportunity to align with this Higher Will.

The Soul knows the moral code of the New Era. What brings it to life are acts of Love supported by Strength of Mind and Purpose. The purifying fires are preparing us to live by this spiritual code and use our mental resources to help build a new world. The adage “As we think, so we become” holds much truth.

The Elders who guide this work have been helping us to see the grand picture unfolding on our planet. They tell us that the current world civilization has outlived its evolutionary usefulness due to the limitations of the human mind, devoid of love. The absence of love from the present world system has become a threat to physical life on Earth, which is falling into decay. In time, however, the blossoming of the human soul will result in the birth of a new civilization. 

It is important to keep in mind that the life stream of Earth is ascending to a subtler, more light-filled plane where the soul’s qualities will be nurtured. Our vital energy bodies will enable us to see the subtle web of life as the underlying linkage that connects all living things. This recognition will speed up the awakening of the collective human soul and its aspiration to create a new world.
