Stillness: a Gateway to Higher Realms

“Time is a linear marker of events on the material plane. As spiritual awareness grows, time will have no intrinsic significance. In the new era, activity of enduring value will foster soul awareness in a realm beyond time. Passing events will be of secondary importance to their meaning. At present, when you visit a foreign place for the first time you absorb a host of new sights, sounds, and tastes. When you later reflect on your experience, a stream of images floods your mind but only a few hold your attention because of the meaning they hold. In the coming age, significance will be drawn from the meaning of events rather than events themselves.”

In the new Earth, the purpose of the soul’s incarnation will remain the same––to grow toward greater light through experience. But the vehicle of the soul will be more refined, allowing consciousness to easily transcend the restrictions of material existence.

We will understand what it means to be fully human. By learning to temper emotions that lead to destructive behaviours, we will gain deeper insights that will accumulate as wisdom. When the focus of life rises to the level of soul consciousness, time and the limits imposed by dense form lose all significance.

The life of the soul is only now becoming apparent to many human beings. What we usually associate with stillness in meditation, deep reflection, or simply a moment of profound awareness, is actually a gateway––an essential condition that allows the soul to be fully present.

By cultivating presence in the moment, we free ourselves from the shifting currents of the material world and find release in stillness; we rise beyond the limitations of personality and reconnect with our true essence as souls, unbound by form and time. By directing the soul’s light toward the unfolding evolution, we align ourselves with the transformation now shaping our world.

Many people today are recognizing the soul through personal experience, thus shifting their identity and uplifting collective consciousness beyond time and space. This transformation is steadily redefining reality itself.

The new world is now being shaped by those who have the courage to delve deeper, ask probing questions, and grow spiritually. When this occurs, the boundaries between self and cosmos, form and essence, begin to blur, revealing a more fluid and expansive perception of reality. What was once perceived as separate—body, mind, spirit—is gradually merging into a more unified comprehension of who we truly are as human beings. 

In the coming era of the soul, fear will no longer control humanity. The soul will discover its purpose for each life cycle and strive to fulfill it. At the end of the life cycle, when the time comes for the soul to release its outer form, it will simply relinquish control, allowing the consciousness to rest, and to absorb the light that has been acquired. Life will be perceived as a fluid continuum, woven by new experiences leading to ever greater light.

The span of a human life in physical embodiment is calculated by the number of revolutions made by our planet around the Sun––between the person’s time of birth and time of death. In the new Earth, lifetimes will unfold as cycles of growth and transformation rather than as chronological progressions.

The human form will no longer be composed of a substance that disintegrates and decays after a certain number of years. It will consist of lighter particles that remain in orbit around the ‘central spiritual sun’ of each human being—the Soul.

The major difference between our current experience and life in the new era is that our human bodies, made of etheric substance, will be more directly influenced by our souls. The foundation of life will advance to a timeless plane where physical death does not exist, and where the purpose of life is to integrate spiritual light into the substance of the evolving human being.

When one cycle of learning ends and its results are realized in consciousness, a new cycle of experience will begin. By this means, the soul will advance from one stage of awareness to another, leading to greater emergence into the Light.

For eons of time, a human lifetime on the dense physical plane constituted the only opportunity for the advancement of billions of human souls enmeshed in Earth’s evolutionary cycles. Repeated biological life cycles over the course of millions of years provided the material conditions for the spiritual development of humanity.

These cycles of incarnation in dense form have led to the present awakening of the human soul. This awakening had to begin in the world of form and linear time to meet the conditions of the divine plan for the coming age, when Spirit will pervade the world.

In a recent statement, the Elders conveyed the following about the future world:

“To enter the new world is to enter a higher stage of consciousness. Although the new world will unfold on a subtler plane, it is not a ‘place’ so much as awareness of a greater Light and greater access to that Light.

“Perhaps it can be understood as an environment existing on a plane infused with divine Light, which will nurture the light of the human soul to the point of its blending and merging with the Kingdom of Souls.

“It is the soul’s light that sparks the realization of the interconnectedness of life, which in turn evokes the aspiration to contribute to a greater good. It is the consciousness of being part of a larger whole that elicits a sense of responsibility for life beyond the isolated self.

“This expanded awareness will be the basic building block of life in the new era. Those who pass through the portal to the new world will have realized, at least to some degree, that ‘no man is an island.’ There will be resonance with the principle that whatever serves the common good serves the individual. This is the breakthrough in consciousness that will supply the foundations of a new world.”
