Defining Good Leadership

In our world today, there seems to be little evidence of great leadership. Here are a few thoughts on the subject:

True leadership is the ability to transform a godly vision into reality for the sole good of all.

Great leadership requires four essential qualities: humility, purity of motive, clarity, and the will to bring it into existence.

Intelligent leadership does not follow the status quo. It creates new paths, leaving clear trails for others to follow.

A mediocre leader takes his people where they want to go. A wise leader gets them to where they need to be.

Great leadership does not simply go along in order to get along. It meets the ethical and moral challenges of the day.
